I heard a good gelato place had opened in Yeonnam-dong, so I went to check it out.
It is on the second floor.
It sits right at the entrance to Yeonnam-dong, so it is really easy to get to. From the look of it you cannot tell how skilled they are, but they turned out to be at quite a high level.
Beer at a gelato shop too..
They have a certificate as well.
Choosing the gelato
If you cannot tell what is going to be good, I figure you can just pick the one closest to the bottom of the tub. That must mean it is the most popular.
Decorations
Cute and quirky, Hongdae style. In this neighborhood it would actually be rarer to find a place that does not go this far.

The gelato
As far as I remember it was passion fruit, plum and rice, and the refinement of the flavors is a notch above other gelato shops. I especially liked the rice, and the fruit ones tasted incredibly fresh too. At this level it does not fall short at all even compared with the well-regarded shops in Japan. I have never been to Italy, so I cannot compare there..
