I got to Osaka way too early, so my schedule for the last day was empty. So I decided on a whim to go check out Kobe.

It is quick if you take the expressway, but the expressway has a 60 km/h limit. Well, it is not far anyway, so you can just take it slow.

It is quiet. Of all the tourist spots around Osaka I have wandered through so far, this seemed to be the quietest. Maybe it is because Kobe’s Chinatown (Nankinmachi) is not such an appealing tourist course for Chinese visitors.

Coming back after a long while, it had changed a little, but nothing major.

Ramen for lunch

I went to the ramen shop on the first floor of Mosaic, and what came out was a very ordinary bowl of ramen.

I really wanted to buy some, but I had so much luggage that I could not carry them home, which was a shame.

When I first came here it was not long after the Great Hanshin Earthquake, so the streets were incredibly clean, but that was already more than ten years ago. Now they are starting to show their age.

It was so unusual that I ordered one.

They really did make a proper teppanyaki steak.

The meat quality is good and it goes well with the sauce. It is 1,500 yen, but for anyone who comes to Kobe and wants a casual taste of Kobe beef, I highly recommend it.

The night view is beautiful, but I have to leave soon.

Cloudy weather

It was cloudy the whole trip, which made the traveling itself easy, but I did not get many good photos. Travel really is luck. Now I am off to Kansai Airport.
