Moguri, a Yakiniku Place in Hiroo

I visited a small yakiniku place in Hiroo. It is mainly pork, so it is not as pricey as beef, but it is not cheap for pork either. In other words it is the kind of place that lives on regulars, and since the location is hard to find, I doubt many tourists would make it there.

Cabbage

moguri

I ordered it in place of a salad.

Namul

moguri

Pork tongue

moguri

It is not cheap, but the quality is really good in return. They trimmed off the less tasty bits nicely and grilled it with great care.

Grilled and done

moguri

When it is this good, it is every bit as good as beef.

Bacon

moguri

Good ingredients here too, as expected.

Special sauce

moguri

Goes great with beer.

A glass of shochu on the rocks

moguri

Since they use branded pork from Okinawa and Kagoshima, I ordered a glass of shochu as well.

Grilled horumon (offal)

moguri

It was all so fresh that I was satisfied with everything.

After a good meal we moved on to a bar in Akasaka for one more round, and then parted ways.

Simple bar snacks

moguri

A glass of beer

moguri

A total middle-aged-guy course, that was..
