Wonjo Chuncheon Sutbul Dakgalbi at Yeokgok Station

When it comes to dakgalbi, Chuncheon is the place, but I heard there was a dakgalbi restaurant in Yeokgok that beats Chuncheon, so I went to check it out. Come out of exit 2 of Yeokgok Station and go straight, and it is right next to the Kyungin Munko bookstore. I went at around 7 on a weekday and there was a line, so we ate at the second branch in the building across the street.

Dakgalbi for two

Two portions is quite a lot. Since it is chicken, and a cut without much fat at that, it is hard to eat three or four portions the way you would with other meats. Thanks to that, we ate well for a really low price.

Nicely grilled

It is well seasoned, and grilling it over charcoal makes it delicious. I also liked how crispy the skin was. We picked the leftover bones clean, and the side dishes like the pickled radish and perilla leaves went really well with the meat.

Bibim-makguksu

The buckwheat content of the noodles is on the low side, but the sauce was tasty. Overall it is not a spectacular restaurant, but the value for money is outstanding, and my satisfaction was just as high. I hereby certify it as a great spot for middle-aged guys.
