Kanae, an Izakaya in Shinjuku

There are lots of izakayas around Kabukicho in Shinjuku, and Kanae is one of them. It isn’t cheap, but they cook with seasonal ingredients.

A good restaurant like this is about the average in Japan. Finding somewhere even better isn’t easy. That day we just ate casually and called it a night.
