On this trip I mostly went around to the places I really love. For dinner around Asakusa, Kurofunetei in Ueno is the best.
The lotus at Shinobazu Pond in Ueno. It being the season, the view was spectacular.
Beer
After wandering around Kappabashi and elsewhere, I was hot. Time for a cold beer!
Bouillabaisse
It is really a winter dish, but it tastes great in summer too. I would feel I had missed out if I left without it~
Omurice
The tip is to order the omori (large size).
Fried shrimp
Pound cake for dessert
A modest but happy dinner.
