No, there is no actual library at the Shilla. I visited The Library, the lobby lounge at the Shilla Hotel that is famous for its mango bingsu. With the duty-free shop right there, it is an easy place to drop by on the way.

Namsan Tower

Sit by the window and you can see Namsan Tower. The view, the atmosphere and the service are all decent. And considering the portions and quality of the food, the prices are not even that steep.

42,000 won looks expensive, but..

It was a huge amount for two people. Four could have shared it comfortably.

Since we came at lunchtime, it felt a bit odd to only have dessert, so we ordered a meal too.

I also picked up some dacquoise at the Pastry Boutique.

The quality is world class. It was delicious, but I realised that I still prefer the dacquoise at Maison M’O..
