After a long gourmet meetup, we headed to Mangwon Udon, a place I had only heard about by word of mouth, for one last hit of carbs.

Tonkatsu smothered in sauce

It is Korean-style tonkatsu, and it is really good. It might be a bit heavy for a late-night meal, but it worked fine as a side for soju, and the price was reasonable too.

Udon

A very familiar taste. We asked for it not spicy, yet it still had a slight kick, which was a bit odd. I wonder what you would get if you ordered it spicy..

The noodles

The noodles are cooked just right and have a nice chew. It is a miracle that there is a place near Hongdae where you can eat noodles this good, at this price, at this hour. If you are looking for a second round in this area, I highly recommend it.
