I dropped by Salon de Mon Chouchou in Garosu-gil for a light dessert. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic last time, but I remembered the food being really delicious.

Hmm… but the taste was subtly different from what I had last time. They were clearly using the same ingredients, but the proportions were off and it just did not taste the way it should. Instead of a delicate Japanese-style parfait, it felt like it had turned into a clumsy Korean-style one. Not that it was bad, but that thrill from last time never came.

I was a little disappointed, but it is still a place with decent value for money. And the Dojima Roll is as delicious as ever.

I will have to go back once things settle down. I hope they get back to the level the Japanese staff were making at the start. Not that business will suffer either way.
