ABC Stores are the convenience marts you see everywhere in Waikiki. My hotel plan did not include breakfast (for some reason there were not many plans that did), so I used them all the time. The ABC Store next to the Sheraton is big and has a great deli, which impressed me, but the liquor section was no joke either.
Premium beers
I was stunned by how many kinds there were. The RateBeer scores are posted right alongside them.

Among them, this one caught my eye.
It is pricey, but it went beyond the limits of bottled beer.. With flavor like this, I think it is a better choice than a wine at the same price.
With a Patron..
The tequila called Patron was really good too. It is not cheap, but it has a whisky-like flavor for a tequila. It has aroma and goes down smoothly. Later, at the airport duty-free shop, it was selling for much less than in town.
Dead Guy Ale
This one is an American beer, and it is good as well. St. Bernardus had the richer flavor, though. The more I drank, the more I realized I must be the type who likes ales.
Dole pineapple soft serve
This is another item I found at the ABC Store. It is also sold at the Dole Plantation. A soft serve where you really taste the pineapple. It was superb.
Premium wines
They had some wine too, so I took a photo.. wines like Insignia and Silver Oak, on the shelf of a convenience store…
Cheap wines
On one side there are good-value wines on display. I wondered how it would be in such a hot country, but it turned out to be a great place for drinking wine too.
Snacks to go with the drinks..
Something familiar on the menu.. If I had a store like this nearby, I think I could live happily ever after.
