Before I came to Hawaii, Marunbi (@rumaru) told me I absolutely had to try this burger place, which sits at the far end of the beach after you cross all the way through Waikiki. It is called Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, and it was good.

Out of Big, Bigger and Biggest, I figured I might as well go for the Biggest since I had come all this way. For something called Biggest, it was not as absurdly huge as I had expected. Though one per person is still a bit much.

It looks like at least a liter. At this size, the ice melts before you can finish it, so drinking it all the way down is not easy.

It tasted really good. The patty in particular was tender with no off-flavors. Definitely a cut above the usual chains. It was a long walk, but it was worth it.

There was a free show on the way back, so I stopped to watch, and both the singing and the dancing were fun. The ladies in the crowd could not stop smiling..

And thanks to that.. we ended up staying until the show was over..

The hotel pool

Since I never managed to get into the water at Waikiki Beach during the day, I went for a swim in the hotel pool to make up for it, but maybe because the weather was chilly, swimming was not that easy. The pool was small too. Still, there was hardly anyone there, so we practically had it to ourselves, which made it fun in its own way.

Worth experiencing at least once. But of course, playing at Waikiki Beach in the daytime is way more fun.
