Toritsubaki got famous thanks to the TV drama Kodoku no Gurume (The Solitary Gourmet). After it appeared on the show, the line at the main shop was so long for a while that there was no point going, but the Asakusa branch was fine.

This is another dish from Kodoku no Gurume. The avocado skin makes it awkward to eat, but it tastes good.
Pancakes
Pancakes to finish. Pretty decent.
An izakaya where you can drink freely without worrying about calories or budget. The food is decent too. But for the same money I could go to Kameido Horumon.. so I doubt I will come often. Kameido Horumon really is a game-breaker of a place.
