I had no plans to go to Comiket this year, but that day happened to be really hot, and since I had not ridden my bike once since buying a bike lock recently, I figured it was time to break it in, so in the morning I just set off for Odaiba on a whim. It took about an hour and a half from Asakusa. On the way there it was still morning and there was plenty of shade, so I was not too tired, but on the way back I was half dead. I completely misjudged it. I never imagined the Comiket venue would be that hot. Next year I should go properly prepared rather than on impulse.

With more pro cosplayers around, the level has gone way up. Looks like I cannot not go next year either.. It was hard to eat, hard to get water, and too hot to move around, so next time I should bring some food along with a towel and a heatstroke-prevention kit. This year I was just way too unprepared.
