Vinosity, a wine izakaya in Kanda, is a place I remember eating really well at before, so this time I went back. I am starting to have places I could almost call my regular spots, and it feels like making a list of them would come in handy for a long time.

The signature champagne

It is a champagne called angeaile rose, and pouring it filled right to the brim seems to be this place’s signature move. The wine is not high-end, but for the price it was decent.

Prosciutto

This was a miss last time too.. two misses in a row. I will make sure to remember that.

Raw corn

The next table ordered it so I gave it a try, and it was sweet. The juice just runs right out. It is delicious on its own, but a light sprinkle of salt might make it even better.

Pate de campagne

Hefty. One of those dishes where you wonder how much they can possibly make selling it at this price.

Ratatouille

I loved it last time, but this time it did not impress me quite as much.

French fries

Not bad.. but compared to the french fries at Blue Note, they fall a little short.

Chicken cream stew

A great meal. Top value for money, and the casual atmosphere makes it easy to drop in. Eating a two to three hour course meal with a friend I meet all the time, without it getting boring, is no small thing. Places like this get more precious as time goes by.
