One weekend, after Kameido, I headed over to Kinshicho. It is close to home, so I end up going there a lot.
The front entrance of Thailand Shop
There are quite a few Thai restaurants in Kinshicho, and I went into the one that looked like the best value for money. It doubles as a Thai grocery store, and the inside is bigger than you would expect. Maybe because of the good value, the place was packed.
Pad see ew
Basically a yakisoba-style dish. For some reason I was in the mood for stir-fried noodles that day, so I ordered it, and it was pretty good. The flavor was a different style from what I had at Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai in Hongdae, and I think that is because it has been adapted to Japanese tastes.

The wind was strong but the weather was so nice that I ran from Kinshicho all the way to Hikifune.

The riverside
The scenery was lovely, but maybe because it is such a small river, the sewer smell was pretty bad.
The Arakawa
There is a park running for several kilometers along the river. On one side the clouds look like rain is coming.
Birds
It was a windy day, so all the birds had gathered by the river. There were so many of them that it took me by surprise.

I had covered a lot of ground by then.
A cat
I spotted it by chance while running along the road. It seems to be a stray, and it was not easy to make friends with. Next time I will try to get in a bit closer for the photo.
