There is a famous Thai restaurant in Asakusa, and on weekends there was always a line. I was curious and about to give it a try when it suddenly closed for a month, so I could not go. Then a month passed and it reopened, but the line was not as long as before, so I got in without much of a wait.
The front entrance
A shabby little place you would never guess has a 4-point-something rating on Tabelog. I took this photo on the way out, so the sign says they are closed for the day.

Rice
I ordered the curry, and the portion of rice is pretty big.
Green curry
Strong on spices and hot. It was tasty, but so hot that I needed every bit of that rice. I did not notice while eating, but I suffered for about three days afterwards. Maybe I just cannot handle spicy food anymore.
It is a high-level Thai restaurant, so I would like to come back, but I will have to stay away from the spicy dishes. I have hardly ever seen a place this hot in Japan, so it is a bit of an unusual one.
