La Bettola da Ochiai, the Italian restaurant in Ginza, is a really good place whether you look at the prices or the food, but lately I just cannot find the time to go. So, hoping to at least taste their desserts for the first time in a while, I stopped by the take-out dessert shop run by La Bettola.
Tiramisu
The other cakes were already sold out and only the tiramisu was left, which was a shame. I took it home and ate it, and it was decent. But these days, thanks to Au Bon Vieux Temps, my standards for cake have gone up, so I was not all that impressed.
Focaccia
The bread looked tasty for some reason, so I bought a focaccia too. It is loaded with oil and nicely salty, so it tastes great. I just kept eating it. I do miss the food at La Bettola, but for the time being I guess I will have to settle for this.
