I left DisneySea after 10 pm and got to Ueno around 11. I had burned a serious amount of calories all day, so I figured I would grab a late-night bite before heading home. A quick search said a place called Hanada was well known, so I went.
This is roughly what the place looks like.
Every neighborhood has a ramen shop open until late, so you never have to worry about a late-night meal. That is one of the perks of living in Japan.
Garlic
A lot of people in Japan dislike garlic, so quite a few shops serve it on the side like this. Among Koreans, nobody really notices the garlic smell anyway.

Miso ramen
Thick noodles in a rich miso-based broth. Pretty good. A rich ramen like this is also tasty with some chili powder in it.

The portion is substantial and the broth is rich enough to match, which I liked. After a full day of hard labor, this bowl of ramen brought me back to life.
