On my way to look for August Nineteen, somewhere around Forever 21 or Pain de Papa, I came across Cafe Publique, newly opened on Garosu-gil. I was so happy to see it.. If it had been here back when I lived in Gangnam I would have doted on it even more, but now it feels a little late.. mixed feelings, really ^_^
This is roughly the kind of bread they sell.
It looked pretty much the same as the main shop.

This side also looked no different from the main shop. Which is to say, the best.
The lights
As those in the know already know, Cafe Publique is the bakery Publique, Coffee Libre for the coffee, plus a juice bar and a beer bar all rolled into one. So nothing is missing.
Mont Blanc tart
A bit on the sweet side, but autumn calls for a Mont Blanc.
Caffe latte
Pretty latte art. And it tastes good too, of course.
More and more great shops are popping up on Garosu-gil. I am looking forward to the ones that have yet to open, and seeing Seoul get better and better makes me really curious about how it will change from here.
