Seocho Sariwon has been a famous bulgogi restaurant around Gangnam Station for ages, and since the branch at D-Cube City in Sindorim was so good when I ate there last time, I ended up visiting the main shop by Gangnam Station too.

Maybe it’s because this place has some history behind it, but the interior wasn’t as neat as the one in Sindorim.

The pan, too, showed a faint trace of the years.

Again, I can’t tell whether it’s just in my head, but it felt a step below Sindorim..
Extra naengmyeon noodles
Even though I had ordered naengmyeon, the noodle add-on is so good that I dropped some into the pan as well, and thanks to that I nearly burst.
Bibim naengmyeon
I had already tried the mul-naengmyeon, so I ordered the bibim one, and it was good enough that they could pass as a naengmyeon specialist. The noodles were boiled just right, the sauce wasn’t spicy or harsh, and the toppings were tasty too. I can’t think of another naengmyeon place off the top of my head that does bibim-naengmyeon this well.
I don’t know why, but the Sindorim branch feels better. Next time I should just go back to Sindorim.
