I’d arranged to meet a friend in Sindorim, but nothing in particular came to mind as a place to go, so I searched D-Cube City’s website. My friend said the Japanese restaurant there was decent, but having got back from Japan not long ago, I was craving Korean food instead. So we ended up at Seocho Sariwon.

One nice thing about Korea is that every restaurant is generous with the side dishes.

Maybe because it’s an upscale bulgogi place, they come out looking neat and tidy.

After grilling the meat, we added naengmyeon noodles
Looking back, I don’t seem to have a photo of the meat itself. Not that it matters much, since bulgogi meat isn’t exactly a spectacular sight anyway. The quality of the beef they use for the bulgogi was excellent, on a par with Woo Lae Oak. The naengmyeon noodles were, if anything, better than Woo Lae Oak’s.
Naengmyeon
The naengmyeon was better than I expected. At this level I’m very satisfied. There’s a Seocho Sariwon near Gangnam Station too, but I’ve hardly ever had occasion to go there, so this was a good opportunity.
After the meal we went to Leonidas for a hot chocolate, then wandered around D-Cube City doing some shopping. A shopping complex with a cluster of good restaurants in it is so convenient~ Even if not often, I think I’ll end up coming back now and then.
