Bowmore 10 Year Old Tempest
We start off with something strong. A rare Bowmore, with just the right amount of peat, and it tastes good for the price.
Gopchang set
The chadol (beef brisket) was American and a bit tough, so they’d have been better off not serving it. Switching to domestic beef pushes the price up a little, but I should have asked for that.
The gopchang is coming along.

Once it was cooked through, we cut it all up.
For the price it is decent enough. The honeycomb tripe was the tastier part.
For round two we went to a tteokbokki place in Sindang-dong.
The taste is predictably junky. It is not exactly a famous restaurant, yet countless people come here to eat, so I suppose it must be the addictiveness and the cheap price..
