I’d meant to go to the Daejeon concert, the one with no cap on numbers, but work got in the way and I couldn’t. While I was still sulking about it, I heard Assemblyman Chung Bong-ju was holding a press conference at the courthouse, so I slipped over there in the morning. They said it started at 8, but it was running a little late.
It hasn’t even started yet and quite a crowd has gathered.
His popularity is no joke.

The event happened to be near my place, so this time I could join in without much trouble. I bought a few books too. Political problems have all sorts of people’s interests riding on them, so they are never something you can settle easily, but I think attempts at discussion and reconciliation should always be welcomed. In that spirit, I’ll keep cheering the Nakkomsu team on. It’s a shame Assemblyman Chung is going to prison, but if he ever runs for president I’ll be sure to pay him back with my vote. Wishing him strength..
