The original plan was to have breakfast, head straight to the outlet mall to buy some winter clothes, and then go home. But things got tangled up one way or another, and it looked like I’d end up in central Kobe by evening, so since I was running late anyway, I stopped by Mt. Rokko.

It was pretty cloudy, but luckily not so bad that you couldn’t see the view. The last time I came to Mt. Rokko, there was a blizzard raging..

Night has finally fallen.
It was cold and I had no tripod, so I never really got a proper shot of the night view itself. It was a nice view, but it didn’t look like it was worth a million dollars. Maybe because Mt. Rokko is a bit far from central Kobe, it was also a shame that you couldn’t make out the main street or Mosaic. Still, I think it would make a good date spot when the weather is cool. There’s a cable car too, so it isn’t hard to get to.

It changes colour and so on; it seems to be there to set a romantic mood for couples. It was far too cold, so I just headed back. Besides, I still had three hours to go before getting home.
