It’s cold out, so I’ve been craving a hot bowl of soup. I finally got to try the galbitang at Beodeunamujip, a place I’d been meaning to visit for a while.

The one I went to is near Bangbang Sageori. People were pouring in nonstop.
Side dishes
Yeah… nothing special here. I suppose the one difference is that they give you just a little of each side dish at first and then refill as much as you need.
Galbitang (beef short rib soup)
It’s a bit pricey, but the portion is definitely generous. Apparently it used to be twice this size, which would be more than I could manage anyway; this much was just right for a filling lunch. The broth is fantastic, but it loses flavor as it cools, so you need to eat it quickly. Not sure about going often, but dropping by now and then would be really nice.
