Since hanami was one of the three goals of this trip (the other two being good food and going somewhere I’d never been), here are some cherry blossom photos. The sky was dark, so only a handful came out well. Lately my hit rate just keeps dropping. It’s probably because my skills took a nosedive during the few months I took off, but it really hurts.

The weather wasn’t bad while I was shooting the Philosopher’s Path.
But the blossoms weren’t even in full bloom
Felt about three days too early?
Well, to nail the timing that perfectly, you’d pretty much have to live in Kyoto…
These aren’t as good as the ones I took before. On top of that my photography keeps getting worse, so maybe I need to take some drastic measures… Though first I should probably reflect on taking such careless photos…
