This looks like it will be my last Korea post for a while. But I’ve only just finished January… I still have to post just as much for February, March and April, so I’m losing my motivation. Oh… and on top of that, a whole pile of May posts is about to come along too… OTL It feels like being a primary schooler cramming all the vacation homework at once… You get older, but life doesn’t change… sob…
For the first time in a while, I head to a butcher’s restaurant with my friends from Incheon. Unlike me, who just shuttles between home and school/work, they really know the neighborhood, so they know lots of places with great value for money. Come to think of it, whenever I eat with these friends we always seem to end up at a meat place. Well… eating beef cheaply is never a bad thing, though…

It was night, so the photo came out pretty shaky… The place is really huge. As for the location, I don’t know the area well… Honestly, when I was a kid Incheon wasn’t all that big. Now I really get confused about where’s where.
It’s a butcher’s restaurant, so first you pick your meat, right?
The prices are kind. These days, if you want to eat beef cheap and tasty, a butcher’s restaurant may be the only way.

They also give you one sweet potato per person.
You bury it in the charcoal while you eat the meat, then take it out for dessert once you’ve finished your rice.

They’re small sweet potatoes, so I can’t call the taste superb, but not bad as a dessert…

We ate well right to the end, and I think it came to about 100,000 won for the three of us. To be able to eat beef at this price nowadays… that really is a happy thing. I resolve to go back to Korea more often… if only I could get a ticket…
