A friend had a desperate wish to visit Disneyland, so I went along with him. Honestly, it’s not really a place for two guys, but I figured if I didn’t go on an occasion like this, when would I ever go? Disneyland is right there once you arrive at Maihama Station.

It looks every bit like Disney, every time.
The souvenir shops lined up at the entrance
You get through them safely on the way in, but not on the way out. Maybe because it was a weekday, there were fewer people than usual. You have to come on a weekday morning to enjoy Disneyland without too much strain.
This is the Mark Twain steamboat attraction.
At first I thought it didn’t move, but later I saw it makes a full loop around the area. We hardly had to wait, so we hopped on. It was hot with the sun blazing down, which made the outdoor attractions a bit tough, but apart from that it was fun.
The story of Cinderella
It decorates the castle. They really pay attention to the small details.
Pooh’s Hunny Hunt
This had the longest line. About an hour and a half? But the ride itself is way too short. Compared to how much we suffered for it, it wasn’t all that fun.
The world is small
This is the attraction called It’s a Small World. You ride a boat through passages decorated with dolls from every country, and there was hardly any line and it was fun. Much better than Pooh.
Tori soboro set meal for lunch
I ordered it because I really liked the dish it comes in. The chicken was poor quality and the seasoning was strong. But it’s not like there’s anywhere especially good to eat inside Disneyland, so I just ate it to fill my stomach. Next time I’ll have to bring a packed lunch.
There are hardly any places inside Disneyland where you can have a good meal. The drinks are all fizzy stuff like cola, and the food is nothing but fast food. I suppose it’s because of the sheer number of visitors, but it was hard for me to put up with, sadly. Next time I go, I’ll at least bring along a sandwich and some milk.
Big Thunder Mountain
We got a Fastpass and went straight in. Without a Fastpass you’re pretty much stuck.. Standing in line for over an hour somewhere without any shade, you could easily collapse. It’s best to arrive early and get Fastpasses for the attractions you want to ride. You can look around elsewhere while you wait, too. But once you get a Fastpass, you have to wait a few hours before you can get one for the next attraction, so if you want to ride everything you want, you need to plan your moves carefully.

Splash Mountain
It’s an attraction where you drop down a waterfall, and it was the most fun of all the attractions we rode that day.
Night view
After lining up for Splash Mountain and watching the night parade, it was already the middle of the night. There were still events left, but we had to eat dinner too, so we called it a day.
