There was an exhibition in Odaiba, so I went on a business trip to Tokyo. Since it was for work I didn’t get many chances to take photos, but here are a few.
Mr. Kaspersky, flown in from Russia
He’s the antivirus expert with a former KGB background, whose antivirus software was for a while the most searched-for in the world. Coming in person to attend the Tokyo expo, the Japanese market must mean a lot to him. He gave two talks a day, but in the end I had no time and only managed to take a photo.

The view is killer, but the food is so-so. The all-you-can-eat buffet of starters is put together really well, but the mains were incredibly weak. The pasta was just shoddy. On top of that, the wine list was both pricey and thin. If I could have just the starters for cheap I’d be willing to go, but I’m not sure you can order like that at the time when you get to see the beautiful Rainbow Bridge at sunset.
But the beer was delicious
The glass is unusual. The beer here has a honey note in the aftertaste. Disappointing mains aside, it was impressive.

Mediterranean-style fried rice. Loaded with seafood.
Fried shrimp + tonkatsu set meal
I think this is the place with the best value for money at Haneda Airport, for what that’s worth.
Besides these, I also enjoyed the breakfast at the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel. You need a hearty breakfast to get your energy going~
