This week, like every week, I went off on a weekend trip. The theme this time was touring the nearby sights I hadn’t been to yet.
The weather was gorgeous from the morning on.

The Mizuki Shigeru Museum
A museum honouring Mizuki Shigeru, creator of GeGeGe no Kitaro, a manga that’s practically a national treasure in Japan. The whole area around it is one big tourist attraction.

Sanma sushi for lunch!
In Japan, autumn means aki-sanma, autumn Pacific saury ^_^ Sanma at its peak tastes better than otoro. Seriously, it does ^_^
And it’s incredibly cheap, too. You don’t need a specialist place; just walk into anywhere and it’ll be pretty good.
The sanma I had today tasted fine, but it’s still not quite in season. It should hit its peak in about a month.
Then I’ll be eating nothing but sanma every day ^_^
