This is a naengmyeon place that’s fairly well known in Incheon. It’s not near any tourist spots, so the customers are mostly locals, but every summer it’s always packed and you have to wait quite a while for your naengmyeon.. It’s pretty much the only ^_^ good restaurant near my place, so I dropped by without much fuss.
Buckwheat tea
It feels similar to Japanese soba-cha, but the taste is a little different. The Korean one is a bit stronger.. Either way, I like both.
Naengmyeon. The portion is about snack-sized. If you want it as a proper meal, you’d better order an extra serving of noodles (sari).
The photo doesn’t really do it justice, but the noodles here are to die for. They’re not the style of Woo Lae Oak’s pure buckwheat noodles, but the al dente texture makes your teeth happy and the fragrant buckwheat aroma hits you right in the nose. The broth is on the clean, light side, and a little sweet. I suspect they add MSG, but whatever the case, the match with the noodles is fantastic.
Side dishes..
Nothing special. I should have ordered the suyuk or the pajeon..

I went alone and only ordered one naengmyeon, but the other dishes looked good too. It was one of my best picks this summer.
