I heard there was a decent bakery in Juan, Incheon, so I went to check it out.
A place like this.
It is called Curly Fox, and it looked pretty sharp. A big apartment complex has gone up right in front of it, so I am guessing that is why a bakery like this opened here.
The breads
Looks great. Though I do wonder whether the salt bread is going for the Betong style, the famous salt bread shop… Not sure it had to, though…
Chocolate baguette
For the size, the price is not exactly cheap…
The breads
Brioche, financiers and so on… They looked delicious.
Spring onion pretzel…
This one somehow felt like something I had seen at London Bagel Museum… They all go that way…
Baguette
This one tasted pretty good too.
Inside
This place has really nice interior design.
Interior like this
It has a proper mood to it.
Characters like this, too.
They seem to be doing pretty well…
The bread is not top tier, but it was perfectly fine to eat. The atmosphere is good and there is bread substantial enough to stand in for a meal, so it seems like a nice spot to drop by on a weekend.
Incheon scenery
It feels like apartment towers and low rise housing all mixed together…
Senior citizens’ center
The cherry blossoms were out, so I took a shot.
A Bakery’s Day…
I dropped in while walking past…
The breads…
Hmm…
The breads…
Well… it was not all that impressive… There are bakeries like this in the world too…
