Shunkado is famous for its Unagi Pie, and their factory is located in a quiet area. I guess this is what happens when you travel to the countryside—you end up visiting places like this because there aren’t many other tourist spots.

Since winters in Japan are relatively warm, flowers like these bloom. People visiting from Korea always find it fascinating.
Unagi Pie
They give one to everyone who tours the factory. It must cost a fair bit if you actually buy them, so it’s impressive that they just give them away. Of course, I really enjoyed it. Then again, since people who go all the way to the factory usually buy plenty of them as gifts, I guess it makes sense to give a free sample..
