Shunkado is famous for its unagi pie, and their factory sits out in a quiet spot. In the end, when you come out to the countryside there is nowhere touristy to go, so you wind up visiting places like this.

Winters are warm in Japan, so the flowers bloom. The folks who came over from Korea found that quite a novelty.

They hand one out to everyone who takes the factory tour, and given that buying them would add up to a fair bit of money, it is impressive that they just give them away. I enjoyed mine, of course. Then again, people who go all the way out to the factory tend to buy plenty as gifts too, so thinking about it, giving one away free is probably worth their while..
