Lots of new apartments have been going up in Namgajwa-dong lately, and lots of good restaurants too.
On the way
The mountains look great..
Seoho Pie
This place looked like it hadn’t opened yet, but people were already lining up. So there was a spot like this here.. If I weren’t headed to a bakery, I would’ve wanted to drop in..
A photo I took from outside
Looks pretty tasty. I’ll get there someday, right?
Myongji University
So there was a university this big here. How did I not know all this time..
A bakery on the way
Seems like a lot of people are opening bakeries these days? Kind of fascinating..
Baengnyeon Market
There’s even a market in this neighborhood. Fun area..
Hwajin Sundae-guk
This place looks decent too..
Fruit too..
It’s a market, after all..
Rakhuian
There’s even a Blue Ribbon restaurant here. Kind of amazing.
Anyway, after passing all sorts of interesting shops, I finally arrived.
They call it a European bakery, so I couldn’t not come..
Breads like these
They look delicious.
Breads like these
Judging by how proper the rye bread is, it really does seem to be a European bakery.
Menu
Nicely done.
Counter
They set it up with real taste.
Potato cream cheese focaccia
This one was packed with way more cream inside than it looked, and it was delicious. So this is what European means, I thought.. It’s a bit far, but it seems like a nice place to visit once in a while.
