The noodles weren’t the chewy, springy type, but they were decent enough.

The lamb skewers were decent, but honestly they taste almost exactly like the lamb skewers in Korea.

Zhonghua cigarettes

I’m not a smoker, but I was told these are a big deal, so I took a photo.

This is what’s inside.

They’re very high-end, and since they’re actually quite expensive and hard to get hold of, people bragged that only the successful can smoke them. Zhonghua cigarettes are actually sold in duty-free shops too, but I was told this particular Zhonghua is an even more premium model that you can’t even get at duty-free.

Seeing things like this makes me think China is still a place ruled by keeping up appearances… Do you really need to go this far?.. And Chinese people smoke a whole lot. It’s just the default, I guess..

There was a free charger, which was handy for charging my phone. But it seems you can also log in through Alipay and buy condoms from it.. Who knew such a thing existed..
