I heard there was going to be a drone show at the park, so I went.

Oh no..

The thing is, the seaside park is so huge that getting to where the drone show happens is no easy task. You need to know the exact spot before you go. I arrived a bit late, but luckily (or not), the drone show started a bit late too, so the timing worked out.

There really are an awful lot of drones going up.

Apparently the drones can’t fly if the wind is strong. Seems like you need some luck..

Apparently the bull is the symbol of Shenzhen. Is there a stock brokerage or something..

Shenzhen’s catchphrase

I was told it means “whoever comes to Shenzhen is a Shenzhener.” I saw the same slogan at the airport too.

This was quite a spectacle in itself.

Fewer and fewer drones

They land one by one as if being sucked back in, which is pretty cool. But it ran about 15 minutes, and while it was cool, it wasn’t all that dynamic.. it felt a little lacking.. Though drone shows are only just getting started, so I imagine they’ll only get more spectacular from here..
