Jimi Dumpling House is a sort of set-meal diner. It’s cheap, generous with portions and delicious, so I went there often.
Menu
This time I took a photo of the menu. Once my Chinese gets good enough, I’ll have to check what it all says..
Tomato and egg soup
It seems to come out cleaner and lighter than at Chinese restaurants in Korea.
Served into a bowl
There’s something like hand-torn dough flakes among the ingredients.
Turnip and peanuts
This was really good. The turnip is crunchy and comes in a spicy mala sauce.
Fish dish
The broth, which seemed to be tofu-based, was tasty, and the fish was tender too.
Corn and pork ribs to wrap in bread
The cooking was just excellent. Even with the huge portions, it tasted so good I had no choice but to finish everything. The weight I gained back then still hasn’t come off..
Inside
It has the feel of a neighborhood hangout.
