The round QR code is the WeChat Pay one. Turns out there are places where Alipay alone won’t cut it… Most places take both, but this one was WeChat only…

The meal

I ordered something simple. The price was about 2,000 won per person? Somewhere around there, so it’s easy on the wallet. On top of that, this place has a system where you sign up as a member and prepay a deposit, and the prices drop way down. I figured that’s how they lock in loyal customers. It seems like you have to go that far to succeed in China.

When I bit into it, there was an egg yolk inside… This could pass as a light meal on its own.

Cheung fun

One has shrimp in it, the other pork. This is just perfect for breakfast: it’s soft, so it goes down easy, and it tastes great. I felt like I could eat this every single morning. No wonder they can run a nationwide chain with food like this…

The bread was good too, and I think congee really is the star of a Chinese breakfast.

A park

There are parks everywhere, which gives the impression of a properly planned city… If people are going to live somewhere, there really needs to be a park nearby.
