I had visited Anna Bread once before and failed. Well, not so much failed as they didn’t have the bread I was looking for that day. So I gave it another try.

This bread
It has coriander seeds in it, so you get a coriander flavor when you eat it, and that turns out to be a real treat. Plain bread on its own gets boring, after all. The sourness is just right, it has a nice moistness, and it’s the kind of bread you could eat every day as a meal without getting tired of it.. I figured this must be what authentic Russian-style bread is like.

Review event
They sell sandwiches too. Anyway.. the rye bread was delicious, and the sourdough was big for the price, so good value. A bakery with real skill.
