It is a small hotel in Phnom Penh, and there is a restaurant on the ground floor. If you ask nicely they will even bring out a late-night snack, and room service works too. I think it is because it is a Chinese hotel.
A meal
Now that I look at it, it seems to be Hunan style.
Cabbage
It is blanched in oil.
Tomato and egg soup
There are places in Korea that serve this too.
Stir-fried offal
Tasty. I think there might have been noodles in there too.
Breakfast
Porridge, soy milk, all sorts of things came out. It is not that expensive a hotel, but the breakfast was pretty good.
Another morning’s breakfast
There were doughnuts too, which is very Chinese. The side dish of pork stir-fried with vegetables had a slight sourness to it, and that was another treat. Good with the porridge, good with rice.
Durian
This one is not restaurant food, but it tasted fine.
Breakfast on yet another day
I could eat it every day and not get tired of it. I feel like as long as there is a Chinese breakfast wherever you go, work goes just fine.
