Limau, a laksa specialist in Songdo

I heard that a Malaysian curry laksa specialist had opened in Songdo, Incheon, so I went along.

On the way

There are places like this too…

Living in Songdo seems to come with quite a few fun things…

Songdo scenery

Songdo scenery

There is nowhere left to build houses in the old part of Incheon… so it feels like everyone in Incheon who is reasonably well off has gathered in Songdo… Since Incheon keeps developing, I suppose that happens naturally.

A place like this as well…

There is a steakhouse too…

Limau

They are running the place in a spot that is trickier to find than I expected… I suppose it comes from a certain confidence… but I do wonder whether a special menu like this would do better somewhere like Yongsan or Seongsu…

Inside

Inside

Curry laksa

It is packed with fresh ingredients. With ingredients this good there is no way it could taste bad.

Close-up

It was like a soup curry that had gone mild with coconut added to it… For a Korean palate a regular laksa may feel too mild, so going for the spicy laksa is probably an option.

Noodles

The noodles are thin, so the flavour did not come through all that much. Either way, it tasted good.
