Nikka had opened a temporary bar in Omotesando. They were selling merch and serving cocktails too.

The prices were a bit steep. If you are a Nikka fan, give it a go..

The place was packed.

There are two separate queues, one for the original cocktails and one for the standard ones, and since there were no seats left I went for the standard cocktails. I had no idea it would be this popular..

I looked at the menu and ordered this one.

You can try all sorts of Nikka whiskies here.

Then again, I had already had every one of them, so I figured a cocktail would be the better call.

Nikka really is popular. I saw plenty of women in there too.

They bring it over still covered like this, to give it a smoky aroma.

Whisky in a perfume bottle..

They brought out whisky in a perfume bottle so I could compare the aromas. They spray it onto a strip of paper, and it is exactly that Yoichi peat smell I am always missing.

I enjoyed every sip. The aroma was lovely.

The Bushmills bar in Ginza

Pop-up bars like Nikka’s seem to be a trend right now. Bushmills had something going on as well, but I was in a hurry and could not go in.
