Knickerbocker Bagel is said to be New York style, but since I have never been to New York I have no idea what that style actually is.

It is a fairly big place. There was a bit of a queue, too.

There is a signature menu and a regular bagel menu.

Hmm. I picked things at random and put my own combination together, but I could not really feel the appeal of the bagel. Not enough experience on my part, I suppose.
So I bought one of the ready-assembled signatures instead.

Oh, this one tasted really good. The apple has a crisp, refreshing crunch and goes well with the ham and cheese. At this level it is worth queueing for. I still do not know whether it is New York style, but if it is this tasty I think it would work in New York too.
