If there is one place in Kyoto I most want to visit, I think it would be Nanzen-ji. It must be that distinctive Taisho-era mood it has. The eras before that never quite click with me, either..

I really love the mood of Nanzen-ji and the Keage Incline. It feels a bit steampunk.. Some might say it is not very Kyoto, but well, everyone has their own Kyoto.
