I went to Nagoya Airport again. I go so often now that it doesn’t really excite me anymore.
Around the airport
All too familiar..
Matsumoto Kiyoshi expanding
A notice that the store will soon reopen bigger. With more passengers these days, the drugstore must be doing good business.
International departures
Turns out they fly to Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung and so on. That day, unusually, there were delays because of a typhoon. My flight to Incheon wasn’t rescheduled, though.
Jeju Air
I fly with them a lot these days.
Around the airport
The view after the typhoon had passed.
The view
You can see the Chita Peninsula off in the distance.
The view
A view of Nagoya.
Nagoya from above
It looks great from the plane.
Cloudscape
There’s real charisma to it.
Korea from above
Nice and bright.
Korea from above
The night view isn’t bad either.
Baijiu at the arrivals duty free
There’s Wuliangye, there’s Mengzhilan.. and the Wuliangye was a World Cup limited edition.. But arrivals duty free is definitely a bit pricier than departures duty free or online duty free.. It’s convenient, so what can you do, but without the price advantage there isn’t much worth buying.. Plus, if you’ve already brought back your full whisky allowance from abroad, you can’t buy any more anyway..
