As you can see, there isn’t a single word about the portion size. And for ramen the price is on the expensive side, too..

The ramen arrived.

Whoa! It was washbasin sized. I’m no competitive eater.. I started losing confidence that I could finish it.. Looking at photos online I thought the portion might be a bit big.. The problem is that the spoon sitting next to it is enormous. So I don’t think I ever properly grasped the scale before I came..

The noodles

The noodles are good and the broth is a standard niboshi chuka. You could call it traditional ramen, the kind that brings back the old Ikebukuro Taishoken. The taste is great.. the problem is that the portion is three servings.. I managed about two servings before giving up, and although I’d planned to walk it off afterwards, I felt like my stomach was going to burst, so forget the walk, I just went straight home.. I think it might be better to get about three people together and order it online..
