I was walking through Shinjuku when I spotted a cafe selling shaved ice that looked delicious, so I went in.

Trying it, the ice itself is carefully made and there is a nice variety of ingredients, so it tastes great. I had no idea a place like this was here..

Inside

It sits in a bit of an out-of-the-way corner, but people kept coming in.. They say shaved ice is a boom in Japan these days, and all sorts of shops are popping up. The trouble is, the famous shaved ice places now have such long lines that you cannot go unless you have time to spare.
