Yoyogi-Hachiman, the upscale residential neighborhood near Harajuku and Yoyogi, is absolutely packed with great bakeries. I set aside a day to go… but the day was what it was…
On the way…
Get off at Harajuku, walk along the edge of Yoyogi Park and you’re there. There’s also Yoyogi-Hachiman Station.

Quite a famous spot, seems to be standing-only… and the line was long… If I were just a few years younger I’d have queued up…

Famous for its tamago sando and coffee.

Famous for chocolate, and it’s pretty big.

There was a place selling cakes that looked like they came straight out of One Piece…
Anyway, every place I’d originally meant to visit was closed after 5, so I thought the whole trip was a bust… but it turned out a few places were still open.
