Musuok is in Dobongsan. I’d heard about its reputation for ages but could never quite bring myself to make the trip, and then some work took me out there.. lucky me, I suppose..

Seolleongtang

This seolleongtang was seriously incredible. A flavor I’d never come across before.

The meat

Other seolleongtang places slice the meat thin, but here they just cut it into big chunks. And it’s hanwoo beef, too.. so the chew and the rich, savory flavor are in a league of their own. If I’d known it was this good, I would have come ages ago..
